Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Camper Letters, operated by Haliburton Hockey Haven (“HHH”), collects and how we use it. We collect only what we need to deliver letters and replies.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email, and an optional phone number.
• Camper details you enter:the camper's name, cabin, the weeks they're attending, and any notes you add.
• Letters & photos you write and upload.
• Scanned replies returned by campers and matched to your letters.
• Payment records: the weeks you paid for and a payment reference. Card details are handled by Square — we never see or store them.

How we use it

We use your information to print and deliver your letters, route replies back to you, process payments, send you service emails (like a notice when a reply arrives), and keep the service secure. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Children's information

Camper details are provided by you, the parent or guardian — we don't collect information directly from children. A camper's reply is scanned only to deliver it to your account.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service:

• Supabase — account, database, and file storage.
• Square — payment processing.
• Resend — service emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Keeping & protecting your data

We keep your letters and replies so you can view them, and retain account and payment records as needed for our records and legal obligations. Access is protected so that only you can see your campers and letters. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your information or ask us to delete your account. Email letters@hhhletters.comand we'll help. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
